Appointment Requests
For new clients interested in counseling, a free 15-minute phone consultation with the therapist is available. This is an opportunity for you and the therapist to have a brief conversation about why you are seeking counseling and to answer any questions you may have. This phone call is brief so it is important to come prepared with any questions you may have.
Please contact Nikita by email or phone to arrange the initial appointment, providing your full name, phone number, and type of insurance.

Insurance
Nikita is working to be credentialed with most major insurances, including Medicaid. Depending on your insurance and your benefit plan, your counseling sessions may be covered in full or in part. Contacting your insurance provider before your first session will help inform you on what to expect for your coverage. Some beneficial questions to help you gather the information include:
1.) Is Nikita in-network with my insurance?
2.) Does my plan include mental health coverage?
3.) Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
Cancellation Policy
A scheduled appointment is a commitment of time between you and your therapist, which typically lasts between 45-55 minutes. That appointment time has been reserved just for you and that time is valuable. If a situation arises that requires you to reschedule your appointment, notice to your therapist must be made 24 hours in advance of the appointment time. A pattern of missed appointments will lead to additional charges that are not covered by insurance and may result in ending treatment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, your therapist may no longer be available. Clients will be charged $50 for sessions missed or canceled with less than 24 hours notice. These fees are not covered by insurance.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your health care will cost. Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have certain types of health care coverage or who are not using certain types of health care coverage an estimate of their bill for health care items and services before those items or services are provided. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any health care items or services upon request or when scheduling such items or services. Please talk to your therapist if you have any questions about a “Good Faith Estimate."
